Philippines tropical plants, flowers, vegetables and trees giving us pure, clean air for our breath of life
Ah - just lovely!
Fabulous shots. I especially like the second one more.
It's the time of year to appreciate them. It's getting cold here!Cheers from Cottage Country Ontario
Wow! Such a wonderfully striking color!
Beautiful! I love the butterfly in the second shot.
A deep rich color and beautifully displayed.
So lovely flowers!!Mary, MI
Red is an auspicious colour for the Chinese. Pentas are good butterfly attractants.
Pentas and Salvias, lovely. Butterflies here like my red Pentas and white Pentas equally well. I would have voted for red if asked which they liked best. Where I planted white, pink and red in a row, they go from flower to flower without regard for color.
Dear Andrea, I love the butterfly shot. I have an ambivalent relationship with red. I used to have mostly pastel coloured flowers but then got bored with the colour scheme - after a decade or two! Now I have some Australian natives with red flowers. In the tropics red and yellow look very normal, and wonderful.
I love your reds as much as the insects do
