Monday Colors

I've been looking for unusual colors in our plants. Of course you know that we have a lot of oranges and reds, and sometimes they get already boring. But if we just take time to look for the not-so-ordinary, we will find. And even if these are ordinary plants, the colors are not in our conditions.

 white bougainvilla

Impatiens balsamina

Blues are difficult to find, this is a weed with very small inflorescence, of about 1 cm a petal.

This one is related to the blue flower, but this is much smaller of only 3mm per petal. It is purple. They are so dainty, i wonder what type of insects can see and pollinate them.

    1. Oh yes Beth, it is really very colorful here, all year round. Can you imagine my feelings when i am in a temperate country during seasons of greyness? I feel the sadness and melancholy. Come and let's enjoy the outdoors!

  5. Wow, what tiny dainty blooms! It is harder to find blue flowers even up here, though we have a lot of purple. I have a garden bed that I have dedicated to blue flowers, however, as blue is my favorite color. I love blue flowers.
