That is a very vivid red, there's nothing like that here. In fact the trees are bare, waiting for the first big snow, which is late this year - it's still almost summerlike.

That's a stunning bloom--Amaryllis, right? Sometimes vivid reds can be difficult to photograph, but you've done a wonderful job!
