hahaha, thanks Ruth for dropping by. I think you mean "stamen", which is a part of the reproductive system of a flower. But in this picture stamen is just one of the details of those at the center of the throat. The green thing is stigma or the female part.
I was going to guess a Morning Glory, but Gunilla beat me to it ... though it could be a petunia. I think the pale color says Morning Glory though ... I hope you are going to tell us at some point :) Fun and beautiful ... certainly did catch the light.
Hello Andrea, i seldom see you but it's always nice to be talking to a person with same name as you! haha. It actually is a white petunia, and early in the morning the light is not as harsh which comes throug the very thin base of that throat. This is actually my first shot like this, and am happy with the outcome.
Your visits and comments are the life of this site. I certainly appreciate them and I will make sure to return the favor. Energies are not destroyed, they are just transformed, so healthy energies be with us all, just like the breath of life!
But i am requesting that no other personal links should be put on your comments. I am sorry, but backlinks give me some problems, so i might not publish them.Thank you very much for understanding.

You're right, it is petunia. You might be growing petunias too! Thanks.
DeleteI love the light coming in the throat of various blossoms, but I have never been able to get this close!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy, this is also my first shot of this kind. I just happened to be awake very early in that morning and it challenged me to shoot.
DeleteIt looks like stamina in a flower.
